The Person Behind the Portfolio
Curious, creative & caffeinated
I grew up in a small Midwestern town where I learned the value of community and discovered a love for stories. That curiosity has taken me from journalism to higher education communications, website management, and digital marketing, but the common thread has always been helping organizations tell their stories clearly and creatively. I believe the best communicators stay curious, notice the details, and never stop learning.
At home, that curiosity continues alongside my astrophysicist husband (whose research I often help edit), my endlessly curious daughter (who keeps my imagination well exercised), and our lovable Newfoundland-Corgi pup (who is the most photogenic of us all). When we’re not exploring, you’ll usually find me with an iced caramel latte, reading, performing poetry, or diving into a new creative hobby.
